Years of planning, fundraising, and the work of dedicated volunteers have culminated in the reopening of the “new” Old Fort. Celebrity guests, a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, infantry and artillery demonstrations punctuate a day of celebration. Visit with soldiers, civilians, and period artisans.
